#1- are you clueless. I’m clearly talking about Freddy Andersen. I spelt the name wrong. Big deal. This is the Internet. No one cares about spelling haha. I’m not wasting my time arguing this with you. I showed stats to prove how good Murray is and you have no solid argument. Half the season as a bottom 5 goalie? It was 10 games looool. Just quit the argument bud. I’ll give you the injury argument but that doesn’t mean he sucks lol. A lot of players deal with injuries. Doesn’t mean they’re bad. When Murray is healthy he’s a top goalie in this league. End of argument
And FYI I never once said JJ was good. He’s a pylon. Idk where you’re pulling that from
Considering they are very different goalies I would suggest its important to know the difference otherwise you look like a fool from the very get go.
You said JJ is better than Shattenkirk, you said playing with Marcus Pettersson has morphed him into a solid bottom pairing guy (lol at even saying that)
Meanwhile on Murray if you have spent a good 40 games being ass garbage the last two seasons and consistently have been injured for 3 straight years you lose the benefit of the doubt. Let him play 60 GOOD games before overrating him he wasnt in any vezina talks for a reason nor will he ever likely be.
Cant stay healthy, never consistent, one of the worst gloves in the league, worst goals saved above average rate in the post season (Natural stat trick), 18th in high danger saves and that is factoring in goalies like Crawford, Bishop, Ward, among other notable goalies having 10-15 less high danger saves while all playing 10+ less games. Murray was 24th in high danger sv% which is the best way to actually measure how great a goalie is stopping the hardest shots that are usually sure goals. Numbers dont back Murray being elite lmao he is closer to a system goalie than he is a top 5-10 goalie he wasnt even better than Cam Ward lmao in HDsv%
