what's the deal with JVR? Just doesn't fit in with the forward group?

I'm a fan of JVR but he was a Hextall signing so Fletcher has no loyalty there. Both Farabee and Frost are LHS so moving out a LWer seems like the optimal play.

Just another guy who says stuff like "Nylander is overrated, he isn't worth a top level prospect, he's barely worth a 2nd right now." And makes terrible trades for him every day because he really like Nylander. Its the cap friendly way.

That's funny because I am giving a really good prospect, a 1st and a 3rd...so what's your argument now?

Value wise: it's not terrible. It just doesn't fit what Toronto needs. Picks and prospects that are years away from possibly playing NHL minutes don't help them win now which is their goal.

This user is just one of the users on here that sees Nylander as a cap dump and thinks Toronto HAS to move him for cap purposes. They don't and they won't. High end skilled players aren't cap dumps. It's also funny how almost every Flyers post he makes acquires Nylander, so obviously he sees that Nylander is still good and takes every opportunity to bash the Leafs fan base when they "overrate" but he can keep acquiring him. It's quite hilarious actually

It's a public post. Where people are allowed to post their public comments. On a site that's public.. don't want comments, don't post it. Lol

Cap dump? So first you say that the value is there and then you claim I say he is a cap dump...so which is it? Try and keep your story straight if you are going to come on here and troll me daily.

With Nylander you are a much better team making that pick a late 1st rounder and the prospect isn't that good, he's a project player. Lit it up in the OHL as an overager. Connor Brown once outscored Connor McDavid while playing with him in the OHL. Don't believe me, look it up.

Nylander isn't getting traded, I don't care what you are offering. Unless its an insane price that I can't possibly say no to, I am not even engaging in a discussion.

You say every day that "Toronto has to move Nylander for salary cap reasons" that is the definition of a cap dump. Learn something. The return isn't the factor. The reason for "trading him" is. To which Leafs management has made it pretty clear they're not trading him. Don't know why people could post such dumb things thinking otherwise. & it's possible to keep him and still keep the team together. So why would they? All you do is think what's best for your team. As I said, pucks and prospects for top end talent don't help Toronto. They're not interested in it. LOL.

Not once have I said they "have to move Nylander", I have said many times that it makes sense to instead of trading 3-5 other pieces. But hey, semantics right...and I find it absolutely hilarious that fans like you think you are going to be able to "help Toronto win now" when you will have to trade so many players. You really think teams are just going to give you their good young players on ELCs out of the goodness of their hearts? Give your head a shake bud!
