Description
I was taking this seriously until I thought, “You know, I want Panarin.” Assume he gets a NMC so we don’t see a repeat of last time, and because that’s Stan’s favorite tool. So yeah, that’s that. At least it’s not super far out of reach.

Anisimov just needs to be moved to clear a roster spot, and I’m pretty sure his NMC goes away on July 1st. Assuming NSH doesn’t resign Boyle, AA would be the big body on the PP that Nashville so desperately needs. Cap may be an issue for the Preds, but something could worked out whether it’s retained salary or a third party like the Brassard to OTT deal. And why not bring bacon Dauphin? Fits the Chicago trend.

Mitchell can hopefully play a year in the minors, then make the jump to the NHL. Likely a Murphy trade as a result because let’s face it, Seabs is going no where.

The D core is just getting younger and more skilled. I didn’t even take into consideration the 3rd(!!!) overall pick. Assuming whoever we take will not play in the NHL next year. Looking like we have too many middle six players, so a guy like Saad could be on the outs in the next year or two.

Kruger is not going back 1st and foremost.

Boqvist is going back to London.

Perlini is signed for about $1M too much.

Caggs isn't a center so to speak so not sure he would suddenly move to the 3C.

While I would love to have Panarin back it's a long shot. Dzingel would be a good move for $4.75M and save the Hawks a ton of cap space. Nyquist also.

Unless it’s already been said I don’t see a negative to bringing Kruger back, he’s not taking a roster space from anyone.

I wasn’t sure what to do with Perlini money so I through something out there. He played really well the last bit of the year. Probably right though.

I didn’t know it was guaranteed Boqvist was going back after he just missed the team this year.

Mistake on my end at Caggs being C. Gotta fix that.

I agree on Panarin. I just put him there because I wanted to.

Boqvist himself and the development staff have come out and said he's headed back to London. Now if he has an amazing camp, then there's always a chance but slim at best.

Kruger is taking a roster spot away from young guys. Highmore, Entwistle and even Johnson might get another shot.

Regarding Caggs, I would grab Haula from Vegas to fill the 3C.

Touché on Krüger. Sounds good with Boqvist, and we might as well keep AA if we’re gonna give up assets for Haula.

Highmore, nobody knows. He was injured last year but the year prior looked promising.
