Description

just looking for thoughts on the VGK and DAL trades.

VGK has some cap issues, moving miller for kap could help with their issues, while helping the leafs on D.

DAL - tons of cap space, and provides them a legit 2C behind Seguin. Would assume they resign Zucc as well, and go in with a top 6 that includes Benn, Seguin, Radulov, Zucc, and kadri.

I can see not getting the 1st, especially as Caps_man pointed out that they likely wont have the 1st anyways.

Kadri is a 2C on 90% of teams in league, just because he's the 3C on the leafs doesnt mean he's a 3C player. Also Johnsson > Hintz . Hintz could be a top 6 player, he's not there now, but kadri and Johnsson are already there.

just because he plays 2C doesnt mean he really is one. a 30 point player isnt a true 2C. He's not there yet.

Its like calling Bozak a 1C when he was on those terrible leafs teams from 4-5 years ago.

Kapanen wouldn't help Vegas much in terms of the cap. He is scheduled to make about 3 million and Miller is payed 3.75 million. 750k isn't enough for Vegas to make that deal.

Miller at 1RD is a complete fail. He's a sheltered 3RD and PP specialist.
