Man, whoever is that Habs scout in FIN:

1. Bergevin and Timmins must be in love with him.
2. He’s truly one of the Habs best scouts, or he massively oversells his guys and management believe him.

Decent signing, young with decent numbers at a position of need. Does make me wonder if MTL is scouting Liiga, and therefore being more likely to make signings like this moving forward, a bit more than other teams right now for obvious reason. One signing isn't any evidence either way but it could makes things interesting moving forward.

Joni Ikonen played on the same team as him. He also participated in their development camp for the past few years. Montreal has wanted him for awhile now.

I like this signing, quality young guy and also can help with Ikonen's transition when he's ready to cross the pond. Now if they can add a guy who will help with Romanov's transition when he's ready.

i doubt he even makes the NHL roster this year. I hope I eat my words, but I don't see him as anything better than a core piece in Laval right now.

They seem similar except Jerabek was 25 and this guy is 22. One was a fully developed play and this one is just a kid
