Exactly the opposite actually. Toronto can't say no fast enough. Giving up 2 PK guys, Kapanen has top 6 upside and a top 6 C in Kadri on a great contract just for Larsson who's overrated and relies all on his defence and has no offence to his game whatsoever.. Toronto easily passes. Might get Kadri for him, won't get Kadri with even one of Brown or Kapanen let alone both.

Lol.. people still think Kadri's value is trending down.. but I'll be honest, I didn't see the 2019 1st in there at first if it was, my bad. But Kadri still has strong value. a 60 point two centre that can score 30 goals and is only making $4.5M is worth quite a bit actually

I like this trade for TO, but add Puljujärvi as well.

I understand the need to get better quickly, but I don't think Holland moves the 8th overall pick. In salary cap era, with expansion coming, that pick is worth its weight in gold. The trade adds scoring and forward depth, but RD becomes a black hole. Holland will have to see whats out there this summer before making a hasty deal involving a high draft pick.
