former 5th-round pick by the Predators in 2013; played at Colorado College, was never signed by the Predators, went back to Finland for a couple of years. this past year, put up 9 G, 30 P in 60 regular season games and 4 G, 9 P in 16 playoff games.

One of the better players in the playoffs this year. Only a one year deal though. Kinda unfortunate

unfortunate, I guess, but that's how ELCs work, m8.

Not really a position of need at the NHL level, probably a bad sign if he see meaningful NHL time.

I would be one of the no votes up there. What is dubas thinking? Unless he is just looking for some marlies I don’t get this. Unless he is planning on moving muzzin to make room.

Why are we not persuing Oliwer Kaski?

Maybe he will sign him tomorrow.......

I think its Marlies thing actually, they are packed at RHD at the moment from what I see, with Rosen and Borgman both going up

"What is dubas thinking?"

LMAO Dubas can just give prospects away if they need room for future signings.

What are you crying about?

Oliwer Kaski... why are we not working on this guy? Why are we wasting our time with marlies and players that are just going to waste a year of their life. Kilvilhame isn’t even a prospect...

Last I heard it was cbj, didn’t think the leafs or Detroit is in on him.

*edit looks like you just signed him. Well either has some other plans on D or he dropped the ball here.

With Liljegren, Hollowell, Duszak, J. Subban, Lindgren and E. Rasanen maybe Dubas feels he has enough Right hand D prospects now, and need left. Went from one extreme to another. But from all I read they did try to sign Kaski, he was just more familiar with Detroit from his college days.
