I like Howden but I think NYR long term would be Zibenejad-Chytil-Andersson as the top 3 centers, so I'm good with moving him. Definitely fair value, only thing is with Buchnevich Kravtstov Kakko on the RW I don't know if we need more

Kakko will be playing centre soon enough And I’m not putting much stock in andersson just yet.

Also buch, kravtstov and kakko are all lefties.

I dont believe Marleau would be playing for Leafs next year. But here I have him. I believe he would be somehow gone.

Its a good deal for both sides. McCann has potential and low salary. Kadri is great centerman that would give Pens more chances to win. Also Jarry would get opportunity to win spot as backup.

it's a fair deal for the rangers but I don't think they do it.. They need the center depth more than RW. They already have Kravtsov/Buchnevich at RW (who would both play over kapanen) and they may draft Kakko.. Only way they consider this trade is if Hughes falls to #2

Pens have the cap problems too. Don't know if they can take on more with Kadri. Not sure why Arizona does that trade.

unpopular opinion i'm sure, but I would rather have Johnnson at the expense of Lias...
it's too early to tell, but I like Howden more than I like Lias.

would TML do Johnnson for Andersson as frame work with some additional pieces, maybe Pionk from the Rangers side?

Johnsson is needed in toronto. We have very short depth on LW and im not sure Andersson is fitting in Toronto. Howden is more likely the candidate tbh. And with high position they drafted Lias with, Im sure they want him to succeed more.

okay but they play right wing... look at Buch's numbers on the left compared to the right. Also What makes you think Kakko will be a center? And I would hardly call 3rd line center a lot of stock, think Lias can handle that long term

I’m just saying they can be switched over, not sure on the numbers for buch, maybe he is just great at taking passes on the back hand. Might help your d out to have some righties on the right side.

but why play guys where they aren't successful? just to take this trade? I'm sure there's a LW available

Lol... I think the fact that you are drafting kakko shows the success rate. If buch is that good on the right and horrible on his strong side than maybe put kravtstov. Most lefties are put on the right out of necessity.
