FINALLY!!! Someone else who also thinks the caps should go after HUBS!!! I like the Niskanen trade although I’m sure we can probs gets a 2nd and 4th/5th form a team. I say keep it safe and stick with holtby although that is more costly. Use samsanov in a trade with Hubs. Try to keep burky to play on a 3rd line with hubs. Keep Vrána instead of ehlers, he will be cheaper, he’s younger I believe, and has more potential(arguably). But I think a good trade for hubs would be samsanov, Lucas jo, eller(since we won’t need him with hubs and burky on 3rd line, or swap him with picks to a team and include the picks),rights to priske, and a 1st/2nd depending on what the rerun is for eller if we swap him or not.

id want hub to play in the top 6....id rather move kuzy to wing than move him to 3rd line center. bura value isnt too high and if hes a throw in for hub im okay w that.....ehlers is better but his cap hit is high....thats why I think getting vrana would be a huge win win for both teams

why would florida move hubs for pieces???? hes good and his contract is great. you dont move guys like that for pieces you trade up for a superstar.

also 2 1st round picks a former 1st round pick 2 years ago who's nhl ready the rights top a top ten baker award finalist and bura aren't pieces they are major assets ..... that was just a silly take on this. im not trading you bottom 6 players im giving up pretty major assets

I think theyd move Hoffman or trockeck befor hubs, he is too good. your right they are good pieces and for trockeck or Hoffman maybe but not hubbs

can't argue that.... Trocheck would be a solid guy to get but I would never give up this much for him...and idk what Hoffmans value after all his bs baggage you know? hubbs is amazing but I think this trade could land you a really good superstar on a team thats not really in contention but will be in a 2-3 year period.

also they gave away Marchessault and smith for pennies on the dollar not saying that matters but idk how the value actual superstars there
