Try more like Jeff Skinner 7 x 8.5 and Gustav Nyquist 6 x 5,5 neither are taking 4 and 3 years respectfully.

So basically your trading away the Oilers future via high picks and prospects just to get rid of overpriced contracts, and you still only have 2 decent lines up front, and pretty weak still on defence!

I don’t necessarily agree with all these moves...but this is EXACTLY what the Oilers SHOULD be doing this offseason. Using higher picks as currency and adding these picks to deals to rid the team of poor contracts. Good players can be found everywhere with enough work...bad contracts don’t just go away.
