I hope to make this as realistic as possible. The cap of 83M is what the NHL said would be the maximum possible cap for the 19-20 season

If Ferland is that cheap Carolina will resign him, I'd also maybe expect to see Varly get another year

Varone is a good depth piece in my eyes and had fantastic seasons in the minors the last couple years, he didn't have a fantastic year last year in the NHL but that was my idea for a chance on a depth piece and he would be interchangeable with Kamanev or Agozzino. This gap could also be supplemented with our 4th overall pick, most likely a Center of some sort.

avs have guys to promote to bottom 6 Cs, and have 5 Cs on the roster already. Point was there is no need for a low impact C singing like him, makes 0 sense
