NJD wants Kyrou, Kostin, or Thomas in a package for Hall, the rest is just filler. Steen doesn't waive his NTC to go back to TOR. The only place you'd stand a chance at getting him to do that is WPG, and that's just because the weight his last name holds in that city. And I doubt CAR goes for Bozak. No logic, just doubt they do with their current success.

Reinke and Perunovich are Top 4 Defenseman Prospects. Toropchenko Fabbri and Stevens all Top 6 F prospects. 2019 2nd Round Pick, with the 2020, and 2021 Conditional First Round Picks you wouldn't get Kostin, Kyrou, Bokk, or Thomas.

Oh I get it. I just think that's where NJD start with a package. I think it way too much for Hall with no guarantee of an extension. But you shoot for the moon knowing you're not going to get it and take something of slightly less value. Even if it's your original target all along.

Yeah, Rental deal, I think I might of shot it a little high, but at the same time it would be really freakin cool to have Hall-O'Reilly-Tarasenko Schwartz-Schenn-Thomas

This is assuming Marleau retires if he doesn't retention, and the 3rd gets taken away, and the pick becomes a 3rd coming to us.

I wish he would but chris Johnston said he was almost 100% sure he would be back next season. if he retires they would have to trade his cap hit but that wouldnt be to much of a problem

Mark Stone got one of the best prospects not in the NHL.. yes there was an extension part of the deal but St.Louis would have a full season to talk to Hall about an extension and Hall is a former MVP. A top prospect is definitely in the talks for Hall.

Guess they missed that when teaching you how to be an assistant high school hockey coach?
