Just stating the facts! Oilers scored 232 goals last year and McDavid, Draisaitl, and Nuge had 119 of them.

Primeau wont be ready to take the net for 5 years, at that point Price can be moved, cap hit is high but salary is low so he could be moved to a team that needs to get to floor

What team will that be? Arizona may not exist and Florida are already fine. Ottawa won't rebuild forever, and Melnyk said he doesn't mind paying to contend. Which team takes him? Price's deal is unmovable. Price is who they bet on. Primeau will be ready within the next 3 years, and he'll either be moved or leave the first chance he gets. He's too good to be a career long backup, and that's what he'd be to price
