    Pretty low offer for Panarin.

Also don't move Dickinson, he's good.

I moved Dickinson to add a second round pick in 19. Because you sign Zucc, you have to stockpile when you can. Panarin at 9 million in Dallas is not far off from his take home in say a NY or CHI at 10.5-11.

He's also rumored to FLA at +$10M, and they're as tax friendly as Dallas is.

Stockpiling picks is decent idea, but moving one of our better assets when we're about to contend is not wise in my opinion.

What would you say Dallas' biggest need is going into next season?

Probably 2nd pair D. Our biggest issue in the STL series was the lack of physicality. Our only physical d-men were Lindell and Polak, we need more solid piece to our defense.

Also a TOP6 winger is a high priority. Depending on the cost of the d-man we presumably acquire, I'd like to get another winger. If the D we get is relatively cheap, I'd go after Skinner or possibly Duchene (and move Hintz to the wing naturally), or if we spend a little more for the D then I'd consider acquiring either Nyquist or maybe Ferland.

Sounds like a fair assessment to me. If it's physicality you desire, might I offer a slightly used Erik Gudbranson? We're running a special on grit right now too so any purchase of Gudbranson comes with a half off Jack Johnson too.

Too expensive. He's pretty much just like Polak, just $2,7M more expensive. We need an actual second pair d-men.

If Pens have a surplus of d-men, would ya be willing to trade Määttä+3rd for Janmark+Honka?

I would make that trade. What's the deal with Honka anyway? I remember people talking about him being a pretty promising prospect with PP QB potential, or at least I think I remember that.

Honka doesn't fit to the Stars' playing style at all. That's pretty much the gist of it.
