As team captain, I do not think the Devils will part with Andy Greene for a 4th round pick. I think they value him too much as team captain. Whats more, you have the Devils trading any two of their current top 4 defense man on a team where defense is the biggest weakness at the moment. Don't like either of the trades particularly.

Tampa trade is no bueno for devils, in value alone. I'd say they're overpaying by at least the full 2nd round pick.

Miller is a marginal upgrade to Zacha at best, especially since Pavy is younger and will make half the money. Id prefer to target Johnson from TB if the idea is a middle six bonding agent. I feel like the devils could target Kadri for a Kakko line for less than this.

As a fan I'm not opposed to shoving for Karlson, and ergo Hall. Contract numbers sound right, and I'd like to see more Kakko hypotheticals even if i think JAGGY OOZE is the boy.
