It's certainly an option if Kesler doesn't end up on LTIR, but he'd still have to waive the NMC, which I doubt he would. Life is pretty good in SoCal, and apparently he and Bob Murray have a great relationship.

I'm on board for the Myers signing though. He'd look good in that top 4.

Vancouver wouldn't even consider this. Markstrom is their starter. There's talks about them working on an extension already. Plus you'd have to pay more than a late 1st round pick for a team to give you that much cap relief.

Maybe Vancouver waive him and he resigns for 1M$

Anaheim can keep Patrick Eaves and waive him but i don’t see why they need Markstrom. They Have Demko who needs to play and then Dipietro is coming the year after so i don’t see why they need 3 goalies.

Demko isn't ready to be a full time NHL starter, his development took a step back this year. DiPietro is still years away from being NHL ready. Markstrom is there guy right now and since Christmas he was one of the better goalies in the league. Unless they're far off in contract talks, they're not going to move him
