NJ says "hell no"

Why would you buy out Lucic? I've read that Colorado is so mad at Landeskog for being a lazy, selfish, undisciplined, horrible leader that they want to get rid of him. I think a Lucic for Landeskog straight up trade would be most beneficial for both teams.

Lucic's buyout would be a bad idea.

First 4 seasons caphits:

then 4 more years of 625,000 caphit. Instead retain 50%, giving just 4 years of 3M caphit which is less than any of the first 4 years of buyout caphit and trade him for the best return possible.

plus you get some return. Lucic at 3M isn't terrible value for another team or if that team wanted they could then retain another 50% making Lucic's cap 1.5M and get a pretty good return. There's plenty of teams that would give something of value for Lucic at 1.5M
