San Jose wants Marleau back as much as Toronto fans want him. They will have no money to resign their own players like Meier, Leblanc, Donskoi, Pavelski, Thorton and guys like Nyquist and Kalrsson.

SO PLEASE MAPLE LEAF FANS STOP TRADING MARLEAU BACK TO SAN JOSE. THEY DO NOT WANT HIM..

But if you COULD fit him under the cap (and honestly, who knows what happens with karlsson or thorton), then San Jose makes the most sense. He makes 1.25 mill in salary after July 1st and San Jose stands to make the most selling his jersey and 'retiring the legend'.
