Sorry, leafs aren’t Looking for any more lhd... we have too many. Islanders seem like a good trade partner but you have to offer something that fits both parties.

Doesn’t help our cap situation either so this trade is a total loss.

curious who is going to step into A top LH Role that Jake Gardiner is Vacating? Dermott whos out until December and was, for the most part just ok playing against mostly bottom 6 forwards? Rosen with his amazing 8 games of NHL experience? the undrafted Borgman and his stellar 8-18-26 in 70 AHL games?

if you think the Leafs have something in their system that is ready to jump in the role Gardiner is vacating, you're delusional

If the Isles trade with the Leafs, they should get Kadri, nit Nylander.

First, delusional is making this personal and you dont need to go there. Especially is you have your facts wrong.

Second, Gardiner was not the leafs top LHD. That position is Morgan Reilly’s. In fact following the trade for Jake Muzzin he became the leafs number 2 LHD. The aforementioned Gardiner actually was playing on the leafs 3rd pairing on his off side.

Third, Leddy would be on the leafs 3rd pairing. Do you really believe the are trading nylander or kadri for a 3rd pairing LHD.

Fourth, I don’t know who steps in for Dermott..maybe Sandin who was first round pick 2years ago, maybe Rosen, maybe Borgman who played 48 games 2 years ago. All 3 would be good options.

See, you are able to disagree with someone without being a jerk.

Toronto is fine with Rielly and Muzzin on the left side. The guy we need is Pulock, but since you won't give him to us, we'll talk about Mayfield.

Kings see the offer for Hickey and raise one round.

(Edit: Nice first-round pick!)

Leafs lhd depth

Rielly
Muzzin
Dermott
Rosen
Sandin
Kivihalme
Borgman

Any of the bottom 5 can play third pair. I don’t understand the ignorance of someone to come out and try and argue something so foolish when all the information is right here on the same site you’re posting on.
