I tend to agree. It's interesting to hear the Hawks pundits debate who's better. I liked Slater's play more personally, but I actually think I'm in the minority here in Chicago.

I agree with you. I will take Slater Koekoek over Gustav Forsling any day.

There is not huge gap between those. Kook plays a little better D, stronger on his skates. Forsling has better passing game, puck possession, , but lacks physicality and can get easily pushed away from the puck. Forsling has a bit higher ceiling because he is younger, but I also think Chicago can get more value for him on a trade, from a team that is looking for fast, pack moving D, that is ready to play, perhaps a team that has plenty of physical D already. (plus CHI has plenty of puck movers in the system that will be ready to step in soon). Actually Chicago can afford to trade another top D prospect easily.
