Zucker had 42 points last season Kessel had 82. Spurgeon is good but Letang was a Norris Trophy contender for much of the year. Who in their right mind would make that trade? Also what is the point of Jarry trading Jarry for a 7th round pick.

Cause the Pens get Kessel out who is most likely getting traded anyways, mine as well create cap and bring in a cheaper option. Letang is overrated. I'm a die hard Pens fan and I'm telling you this. He blew Caps series and he plays too many dang mins with horrible health issues.

Jarry is on a one way only deal so he is dealt. Just picked a team that may want a young goalie.

Bro I cant see Minnesota doing this, they need to clear up cap space and may go into a rebuild mode, I cannot see them trading for 2 players on the wrong side of 30 with high cap hits, when they are already stuck with 2 Albatrosses for the next 7 years. They would rather deal Zucker and Spurgeon for Picks and Prospects.

This. The Wild are looking to get younger and this does the opposite of that. No way they do this. The only way they add an older player in a trade is if they use their cap space to take on a short term bad contract like Callahan or Backes and pick up some picks or prospects in the process.
