Graovac 8 million buried in the minors may help your cap situation a little

Doubt it, bet he's still looking for a bridge at $6.5-7.
I don't think we're gonna see to many "cheap" bridges anymore, they'll be a bit of a discount but not much.

What is his actual number then with a 8yr contract? I would say his bridge is 5.5 to 6.5 and no higher

So the massive extension, are for fans and jersey sales more than team builds, obviously depending on location, taxes, and weather. A strong gm should be handing out minimal longterm deals unless it’s a absolute steal or buying up ufa years and a chance to walk

Well in Tkachuks case wouldn't buying him for 8 years be the best deal for Calgary? And then let him walk at UFA or trade him at the TDL just before.
Was thinking, I wonder if the Jets wouldn't be better off to 2 year bridge both Laine and Connor to give some time for Buff and Perreault's contracts to expire.

Need to get rid of Neal, and with signing Duchene, it's like a trade (sorta) Monahan isn't fast enough so I'm trying to make the team faster. Gotta give to receive after all.
