You nailed what Toronto needs to do, but not sure if they understand, how to get there. You may have over done it a touch on rd, but a weakness to a strength doesn’t hurt

Congratulations, you have taken a team gifted with offense and turned them into the Edmonton Oilers with better defense. Those wings look awful. are each of the three centres supposed to carry their lines to victory, that tends to not turn out well.

Or they don't cause it's a fair valued offer?
Marner = Jones and the 4th
Anderson = Johnsson and Rosen (slightly favoured to Anderson)
Jenner = Dermott (slightly favoured to Dermott)

Don't hate a trade just because it's the Leafs. The value is actually fairly good for both sides when you break it down.

Do you know what you're talking about? Yes the wingers aren't as great as they could be, but that's the sacrifice that's needed to make the team better defensively. Good teams are built with strong centres that can carry teammates (yes all 3 of them can) look at always Pittsburgh did if you don't believe me, and good defence.

Also, bad wingers? Hyman and Kapanen just scored 20 goals this season on this team. Anderson has 27 goals last season on a worse Columbus offence, Bracco just tore up the AHL and shower he can produce, no doubt he's ready for NHL action soon, and Moore has shown that he's a step above the AHL from his performance with the Leafs and his current AHL playoff run (similar to how Johnsson did) and is ready for more NHL minutes.. so in a cap era where you need strong centres and strong defence to win.. that lineup is miles ahead of Edmonton. The Oilers has 1 winger score 20+ goals and that was Chiasson and only because he played with McDavid.

The wings arent "as great as they could be" they are bad. We dont know what Kapanen is yet, that is going off a single season, Hyman and Anderson both had career years, could easily regress. Bracco's style of play is very well suited for powerplay and AHL level opponents, so he is unproven as well. Defense does improve a lot but the previous cup winners all had much more firepower on the wings (Ovechkin, Wilson and Vrana overacheiving, Kessel, Kane, Hossa) in addition to their elite centre depth. I can see where this is going but the alterations to the team are too radical.
