Your extensions for Kapanen and Johnsson are ridiculous low balls that they won't agree to. Simmonds signs for more money, Brassard gets at least 4mil by some desperate GM, Brian Elliot signs for more

Maybe, but if Toronto dont offer him at least 4 mil a year, another team is going to offer him a $4mil x 2-5 yr offer sheet and get him for a 2nd rd pick. What hes worth to TOR isn't as important as what he might be worth to another team for a 2nd round pick, which I think almost every team in the league would offer.

It would have overpaid winger for sure.. I dont think it would be better team tbh. We are losing every trade except the Marleau one..
