Signed him to a 1 year ELC for this current season. Was a RFA going into July 1st so had to resign him.

It'll be nice to see an Elvis-Jonas battle in net. See who's better for them in the future! It'll be a good story for CBJ fans and if Elvis doesn't suck then maybe losing Bob won't be so bad.

Elvis signed to be the guy. He doesn't want to be a backup anywhere. He wants to play. That's why he stayed in europe till he was 25. He wasn't going to come and be bob's backup.
They know he can play. He knows it too. The guys WC numbers are pretty solid. It's a small sample but it's a good reflection on what he can do against a lot of really good competition.

Honestly, they maybe better off with him in net than bob. Bob has had really good teams in front of him and choked it away. If last season proved anything, they need a better goalie.
