Chicago isn't gonna trade down unless something really good is coming back.

Not bad. They might want someone with more potential because Tanev has already peaked and is injury prone. Maybe Gaudette or Goldobin/Stetcher/10th for 3rd and Seabrook

This, but Chicago keeps Seabrook and Vancouver switches Tanev with Hutton. And even then, I’m not totally sure I’d do it

This Blackhawks fan would consider a trade that looks something like that. Good work.

The really good coming back could possibly be the cap space to bring back Panarin

Exactly. As a 3rd party (Leafs fan). I think if CHI can use that cap space to sign Panarin/EK65 or even lower tier guys like a combo of Gardiner, Stralman, Methot, this would be an excellent deal for the Blackhawks. Hawks gotta win sooner than later with their core aging. They don't need prospects right now.

That garbage doesn't move you up 7 spots, And the Hawks aren't including their #3 pick just to move Seabrooks contract. Get real here.
