I’m always suspicious when I see titles like that but this would be helping out Dallas, although only slightly, giving up a 2nd and 3rd to save a first.

I think the real title should be “How to **** the Rangers”

99% sure this would be considered tampering and the league wouldn't allow it. Not to mention Zuccarello would have to agree to it which would be very out of character for him

Why would Colorado want a 1st? There's no downside for the Avs so they would take whatever they could get. A getting a 2nd rounder for free is great

Why wouldnt we? getting a 1st for free would be great, but getting a 2nd is also great if we dont have to give up anything for it.

COL gets a 2nd round pick for free. Dallas keeps Zucc and only has to give up a 2nd and a 3rd instead of a 1st. This is a win for COL and DAL. The only team that 'loses' in this scenario is NYR. Why are you against getting a free 2nd rounder?

I'm against it helping out a Western team at the expense of an Eastern one. Y'know? The ones we have to play against more and against it because it's unrealistic.
