Only way Malkin is traded

Created by: pharrow
Team: 2019-20 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: May 17, 2019
Published: May 17, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
for those people hell bent on trading Malkin. This is the only way it happens. Because it means total rebuild. Which means 12 1st round picks in 4 years. Don't even @ me if you think getting either of these players at 1/2 cost isn't worth it. You won't find a winger of Kessels quality anywhere in the league for 3.4 million a year, nor would you find a center of Malkin's ability for 4.75 million. They are a steal for any team truely trying to win a cup.

yes because those grow on trees for teams trying to win a cup in their window not picking top 5.

Malkin? Sure, he truly is elite and even at his age and wear and tear is a powerhouse. Kessel? Sorry dude not a fat chance. Guess you'll just have to keep him. No team in their right mind is paying four 1st rounders for Phil. Even at 3.4M. Dont @ me but if you think Phil is scoring 90 points in Anaheim (Or Arizona for that matter) you're off your rocker.

no one said he's going to AZ or ANA. it says any team please learn to read. Most likely a playoff team looking for help on the wing for their window. Which isn't going to find a guy who can rack up point for 3.4 million a year. A would only be giving up late round picks.
Hell there are ACGM on here trading him for basically 2 1st at full cost. You don't think the 50% salary cap retention nets another 2 you are kidding yourself. That's extremely valuable to teams up against the cap.

Furthermore, they aren't trading Malkin out without moving Kessel for a huge return. Period. And that's the whole point. It means total rebuild. Which means you move both.

Regardless, any team paying four 1st's isn't happening so Im not sure what your getting at? Any playoff team with actual smarts knows one player doesn't make a big enough difference. Especially not a 32 year old Kessel. You know what does make a big difference? Draft picks. Replacing aging players with top quality drafted players makes a way bigger difference.

If you are taking ACGM's on here as reality, than I don't know what to tell you. Either way, looks like Kessel is on his way out. Can't wait to see who is way off. Lol

You clearly don't get it. You aren't paying 1st for just a player. Your paying it for the cap space. If you get 3.4 million of cap space for 3 years, you got to pay for it. If he was coming with a 6.8 million cap hit I would totally agree with you. But retention is maxed here, and it's a lot of cap space.
And any team making a run for cups in that window don't give a crap about the draft picks, much like the penguins didn't and every other team trying to win in their window. They are most likely going to spend them anyway on lesser quality rentals that will be 1 and done.

yeah I get how the cap works and half price kessel is a bargin but not 3 1st rounders good. it may be a cheap player but its still paying 3 picks for 27 goals and 61 pts or about that.

A cup contending team getting a guy who can reliably put up 70+ points a year for 3 years at 3.4 million and you think it's not worth the picks. In general just to get Kessel you are looking at the cost being at a minimum a 1st, a prospect which is probably a 1st round pick. So you are already at an estimated value of at least 2 1st round picks. Then you get him at 3.4 million for 3 years. that's 10 million in cap space to help a team win a cup. I hate to break it to you, giving a team 10 million in cap space is worth at the very least a 1st round pick. My guess is, it's worth 2 to a team for them making him easily fit into their cap structure. So it's easily, at the very least, 3 1st round picks.

can you read. "any team" in a trade you can't just leave it blank, God 2 2000+ posts you would think you would know you have to make a trade to somewhere. ANA starts with an A, so it's at the top of the drop down list. It doesn't say to Anaheim.

They're saying Arizona and Ducks because they've been linked to trading for Kessel. Can you read?.. Trade rumors?.....

You literally have 2 pages of GM teams and never got a 5 star. You go around commenting on people's posts being rude and acting like you know everything, yet every team you've made sucks. The closest you've gotten to a 5 star is 4.5 back when we were able to rate. The majority are 2 stars. I have over 15 pages and over 10 5 star posts. Who's clueless now? Go play GTA or something you useless punk living in fantasy land.

You should look in the mirror and learn to read.

everyone on here has 2 pages of GM teams that never got a 5 star. Hell you can't even rank teams anymore which shows how dumb a comment that is. You haven't been able to rank teams for some time. So that goes to show what you know.
