if youre keeping Johansson, why would you need to get another forward, let alone giving Krug which is VERRRRRRRRY dumb considering they had basically the same points but ones a DMan who played less games

I find it funny that you complain that Heinen doesn't bring enough offense, but you then trade for AA whose first 3yr of production (same age) are worse than Heinen's. Not only that, but then you pop AA in the top 6 and he's not even close to as good defensively as Heinen is lol.

AA - 172GP / 76Pts
DH - 162GP / 81Pts

Outside of that, both of your signings of Carlo and McAvoy take them right into UFA status.

4 and 5 years gives plenty of time to extend. Could have gone 6 on each, but I don’t see either agreeing to it.

AA for DH is an upgrade because AA is a better player and will complement Krejci better, bringing an element of top level speed that the middle 6 doesn’t have.

Because McAvoy and Grizz can replace Krug’s offense on the blue line and AA is an upgrade up front, especially when playing with Krejci and DeBrusk.

Pkus, with Vaakainen and/or Lauzon pushing for a spot, Krug is expendable.

I don’t believe in Bjork at all, so if it were up to me, I’d move Krug and replace him with one of the youngsters and insert Athanasiou instead of counting in Bjork.

Based on what? I just showed how Heinen at the same age years has produced more. You're biggest knock on Heinen is he doesn't produce enough, but he's produced better than a guy whose an "upgrade" and "better player" in your eyes. squinty smile

Stats aren’t everything. If you think that AA playing on a mediocre to below team while Heinen has played on one of the top teams in the league doesn’t count for something, then I don’t know what to say.

Krejci would be the best player he’s played with and his speed would open things up for him and DeBrusk.

Lol stats aren't everything, but all you do is crap on Heinen because he doesn't have good point stats. You constantly contradict yourself post to post

To be clear, I don’t like Heinen because he’s not the type of player I enjoy watching.

He’s too soft, unemotional and boring.

The stats I don’t care about are the advanced metrics, which I find relatively useless.

You cited AA’s point totals vs. Heinen as the reason why Heinen is better. I countered with the fact that Heinen has been on a better team with much better players.

If you think Heinen is better, great. But if you think it’s a slam dunk, then you’re way off.

Happy to continue this on HF as it makes no sense to go back and forth between

No need, we wont agree. Just funny that you dislike him so much you trade him away for nothing. Then the guy you say is better than him is really because he's flashy.

Flashy and, oh yeah....a guy who scored 30 goals on a lousy team.

When Heinen sniffs 30 goals (in a season —-not over the course of 2 or 3 combined) let me know.

Until then enjoy all the awesome CORSI’s he scores.

Wait, I thought you said stats weren't everything sarcasm

There's you go again with contradiction from post to post tears of joy

Still the fact that you trade Heinen for NOTHING is what makes me laugh the hardest. I'm done cheers

Did you not read my earlier post?

I said the advanced stats are useless.

I know that reading is hard and all, but it seems like you can do it reasonably well at times.

Lastly, if you read the post on HF, I explained that because I don’t use this site often, I couldn’t figure out how to post the return when trading a players rights.

There I said I’d move him for a 2nd or 3rd, but moving out his salary is really the key part of it.
