I would make that trade. Are you sure Philly would? I'm dying to see the comments you get. Good luck!

I’d consider it if Ratcliffe was swapped out for another piece. Don’t know what we have in him yet. Frost,Ratcliffe,Rubstov and Farabee would be my off limits forwards as far as the pool goes. This is assuming of course Kadri gets his head out of his ass.

Every Flyers fan defending Gudas, he was amazing despite having the worst partner in the entire NHL in Hagg.....Haggs a top 4 defenceman with upside, he's definitely worth Kadri of we throw in an OHL over ager and a couple if picks. Haggs awesome.

Vorobyev could be throw in instead of Ratcliffe , don’t know if Toronto would accept

No Flyers fan ever called Hagg anything more than a 6/7.

Gudas’s stats say he’s better than most opinions. He is what he is and brings what he brings at a good cost.

Hagg isn’t the main piece in this trade it’s Ratcliffe and cap space

Ratcliffe isn't worth near as much you think he is. The top scoring player in the OHL signed an AHL contract at the same age. No thanks, he could pan out but Kadri is better and there are better moves to make before moving Kadri.

If I’m Toronto I try and move Kadri in more of a one for one for a defender. You may save a little $$ but ultimately will have to make other cap clearing moves. A prospect or picks will need to be used to address that. Admit it or not the Leafs have some salary cap issues this off-season and they should lighten the following off season most likely.

Think the Leafs make that trade. Think the Leafs would prefer Gudas, but he doesn't help the Leafs cap issue much. With this trade the Leafs just might be one trade away from being cap compliant.

My fist idea was gudas , Ratcliffe and a secound for kadri but I think leafs don’t have enough money to have him like you said

Kadri is a 2 time 30 goal scorer Ratcliffe is an over ager in the OHL. I am not at all saying Ratcliffe may one day be a very good player but right now, Kadri is a very good NHL player. It's not like Ratcliffe is a top 5 pick or anything he's a potential late blooming player.

Actually here is where our ways part, about Kadri :

18 + 22 = 40
18 + 26 = 44
20 + 30 = 50
18 + 21 = 39
17 + 28 = 45
32 + 29 = 62 - guess who came and play on his wing
32 + 23 = 55 - same as above
16 + 28 = 44 - guess who didnt play on his wing

As for the phantom winger....

19 + 42 = 61
22 + 47 = 69
26 + 68 = 94 - guess who was center in his line

As for the unnamed center, he just reached his career highs.....

Oh I don't for a second disagree that Marner made a huge impact on him but I do think he's a 25/25 guy still

Actually those two "with Marner" seasons were the reason i started to trade Kadri last summer, cause the boost in his points would be possiblly considered as hes rising and he would bring notable assets back if traded....after this season it just panned out...well, you know....

A lot of it was bad luck though he hit the post over 10 times. A 25/25 3C is a weapon and I think he is that level for another 2 years.
