Toronto accepts... the flames fan inside me says what the hell are you thinking though.
Funny. My answer is that it helps both teams.
1. Calgary desperately needs another good center. Kadri is that and, from what rumors say, has worn out his welcome in Toronto. (Perhaps I'm wrong.)
2. Toronto desperately needs a strong RHD. Hamonic certainly fits the bill, and he is cheap, which helps Toronto with their cap moves. Now, after next year he'd need to be re-signed, but that bridge can be crossed another day.
3. Calgary is undoubtedly getting the best player of all of these trades in Point. He's from Calgary, and likely finishes his career there, makes tons in endorsements, and is a major draw for the Flames organization. This is clearly a "big picture" move by their organization.
4. Tampa gets help with their cap issues and their stupid use of no trade clauses. Losing Point hurts, but Monahan is really good in his own right, so it's not like they are losing this trade. Add to that , they are receiving a RHD soon-to-be stud in Andersson. This hurts the Flames defense, but in getting Rutta, Calgary gets an affordable vet who can play third pair minutes effectively.
5. Toronto replaces Kap's points with Lindholm's, who arguably is better at this stage in their careers. However, Kap is a strong two-way player and makes up for some of Lindholm's excellent qualities.
6. Dube gets a lot of press and seems to be a hot commodity on this board, but I think his ceiling is 3rd line center with a floor of good 4th line center. Those are a dime a dozen, but due to the hype, it gets that moron Dubas to pull the trigger. Perhaps he wouldn't require Dube?? I don't know.
7. Hanifin is moved to Montreal, who desperately needs a guy just like him for a potential replacement LHD, a defense-first LHD that plays immediately (they have lots of offense with their other LHD), and a 1st.
Long answer, but those are my thoughts (and if my math is correct, all deals fit under each teams' cap).
