The Panarin and Karlsson signings are a joke, Neither are signing for any thing less the 7 x 10.5 and it's a 23 man roster and you pretty much have 0 cap space to boot.

It’s unlikey that Staal waives for Montreal (or any place at all). Malkin is worth a lot more than that. Subban trade is good value, but as a NYR fan I’d rather keep Buchnievich and K’andre Miller, because they could both be amazing players. You also underpaid the UFAs which is a problem.
