Not at this point he's not. He crapped the bed at Boston this past season.

Agreed with Chihawk, especially in this scenario where I had the hawks draft Turchotte over Byram. That along with resigning Kampf for 3 years doesn't make Center a pressing need for the next few years.

I thought he got hurt... I’m not going to argue against the idea that his value is next to nothing, as it is...but I really think he aught to take the rest of his years slowly, and perhaps he can develop into something.

He got injured early in the year, and it was rocky from there-on-out. He looked really good in camp that year, and he's worth Chicago's due-diligence.
