You're definitely not wrong. If he was, every Habs ACGM wouldn't have them trading him away.

Yeah and that's why I'm tired of seeing fellow habs fan suggesting unrealistic trade options. Lehkonen does have upside, but he has more for us than for other teams. We won't have big return for him at this point. Same goes for player like Shaw and Armia. We should rather keep them right now than trade them for late picks, or even worst, expecting guys like Brodin back in return.

Agreed.

-Take a run at Duchene
-Stop trading away Drouin
-Sign a UFA LHD.

A lot of these guys (Lehkonen, Shaw, Armia, etc) are solid depth players, and would be very valuable to your team if you upgrade around them. I get that Jake Gardiner is a game 7 train wreck, but he'd be a great guy to help you get there at least!
