Tbh yesterday really was nothing 21 shots on goal of Sharks just throwing pucks to the net hoping they would go in, he has had more competitive nights.

I would tend to agree but he really dropped off the 2nd half of the season. Only 21 pts in the final 41 games of the season.

I mean Karlsson isn't the same with this groin injury which started the whole thing with his bad give away that set up the play for Sundqvist. Pavelski got hit hard, Donskoi and Hertl both hit in the head with pucks. The Haley gets ejected. I honestly think that it was overall very frustrating for Sharks fans, but I am glad we did it. We need this very bad. it would be ending a 48 Year Finals Drought.

Voting for all awards ends before first game of postseason so playoff performance has zero bearing. Either way, Petterson should win and I'm a Blues fan.

One headshot (Barbie on Hertl). The knee on knees the Sharks throw dont throw the Blues off their game. Nor do the slashes and punches to back of the head

Hertl got hit by Barbashev in the second. To be fair, he should have gotten a 2 min penalty just Kane should have gotten one for going knee on knee with Tarasenko

see I didn't get to watch the full game so I missed a little bit, but from what I heard on the radio both Hertl, and Donskoi got hit with pucks in the face.

I don't know if a drought justifies headshots. Hertl went out on that Barb hit to the head from what I saw, I didn't see a puck, though I may have missed it.

It is what it is though. I just wouldn't want headshots where I play.

We could all say the same on Haley, it might of been a 2-Minute Power Play, but it wasn't a malicious hit imo. Sharks have had too much go there way so I believe this is justified for Playoffs.

I don't think you can justify head shots. Though, the lack of response from the league, maybe they approve of it.

I won't deny they've had breaks, not something they typically get in the playoffs.

I mean looking at the Sharks, you have Burns, Kane, and Thornton who have all caused trouble and not taken the Sh*t back. So I feel it is justifiable of a hit because it wasn't really malicious it's one of those hit the wrong place wrong time.

Didn't Thornton get suspended for a game?

That Barb hit was sneaky dirty man, not sure why you wan't to give it the thumbs up. The Piet **** was lame too and unnecessary. We might have to agree to disagree on the head shots.

So has the heavy body checks, the relentless forechecking, the constant bombardment of Jones, and the Blues refusing to take cheap retaliation penalties. Sharks barely have enough healthy guys to fill the roster.

If any Sharks player complains about getting hit by 6'4' of Petro Pillow, he might need to take up a different sport. Barbs can and does hit, yes. Petro skates by guys and gooses them in the a**. Total snowflake.

All I'm saying is the headshots don't belong in the game. That stuff is bad for the sport regardless of the team.

I know, and with good reason. Barbs can lay it on someone and did, probably illegally. However, Pietrangelo's hit on Pavelski was as clean as the interior of a new car. I just think Joe's head still is not 100% after the Vegas injury. However, Petro still is as soft as a baby's butt, so getting hit by him shouldn't hurt (unless of course you are playing with a prior head injury).

The hit isn't a good look for a guy who just had a head injury. To be honest, the thing that made me the most angry about it was the linesman. He pushes Pavelski back into the hit. Which if you're bracing on one side, but thrown off on the other. Ick.
