Think Allen's is worse than Steen now. At least Steen has found a home as a mentor and a contributor both on the PK and 4th line. He is overpaid, but he's found a good place right now.

Darling soon won’t be the worst contract because he is getting bought out

Corey Perry, Abdelkader, John Moore and Martin Jones all have cases to be made for worst contract on their team. Parise looks like he's turned it around and Söderberg definitely has

I agree Abdelkader hasn't been good since Datsyuk left. Neilson is more valuable than ABS.

Why Martin Jones? He’s only making 3mil, not bad for a decent starter who just has consistency issues.

He's at... 5.75? For a good while, and he's actually not that decent, a good San Jose team is masking a lot of his problems

Oh. Google said 3mil my bad. Anyways, I’ve seen his good games and his bad games, it’s like night and day. He wasn’t really that bad until this season (he was a Conn Smythe candidate just 3 seasons ago) so I would say it’s too early to call it their worst contract.

My bad, not reading straight. Well he ranked 63rd out of 76 available goalies in Corsicas WAR, 76th out of 83 in Evolving-Hockeys, and 57th / 83 in GAA per fenwick. He looks to be one of the worst backups by any metrics and is currently doing his best to keep SJS away from the Stanley Cup Finals

Yes. This season. The past few years he was pretty good, great in 2016. That’s why I wouldn’t call him a bad contract yet.

He clocked in at 29th, just behind Mike Condon and Korpisalo that year, he's 42nd over a 3-year span. Idk I don't have a personal problem with the guy, I'm just saying maybe he shouldn't be a starter and he's earning close to 6mil for another few years

Soderberg I only put in there because I didn't know who else to put. He's not a bad contract. Parise's turned it around for now, but he has six years left, and he's 34. It's just bound to get ugly at some point.
Also, I had Perry in there originally before switching it to Kesler.

That's fair reason. Who's holding up better between Parise and Suter will be interesting. Erik Johnson? Not sure I'd want him for 4 more years @ 6m
