As a Detroit fan I like the Detroit trade.

Canucks don't make that trade, makes zero sense

Lucic has one more year plus a NMC which means he has to be protected during expansion no thank you, yes he is 3 years younger but you wouldn't know that by his play and especially his skating. Lastly LE is owed less money as of July 2nd his contract wont be as bad as he will be owed 9mil over last 3 years where ML is owned 16mil over 4 years which again is 1 million more of real dollars plus that extra year.. so again makes absolutely zero sense for the Canucks

Jim Benning wants to add a big forward with size it's either going to be Ferland, Simmonds or a trade for Lucic.

Did JB actually say this or is this something that the Fans are hoping for ?? and you can't even compare Ferland and Simmonds to Lucic. The first two are way better player than Lucic and will come in at a lower cap hit, so if need be I would sign Ferland or Simmonds over trading LE for ML .. that is just plain dumb. Btw JB will not trade for Lucic nor will he sign these two said players.. ...
