I have no idea if this holds any weight at all, but it would make a lot of sense. I like Sanford, but he’s clearly the odd-man out given that MacMac has a 1-way deal and Fabbri/Blais have both outplayed him. The Blues also need a full-time roster spot for Kyrou so it seems likely Sanford goes. The Oilers seem like a good fit and I think Sanford could thrive and maybe become a 30-40 point player.

I think so. He had 20 points in 60 games with great underlying numbers and he also has the general tools to become a solid middle-6 player.

Earlier in the year he was a point per game player on a line with O'Reilly and Perron. He jsut fell down the depth chart when the team was struggling. If he plays with McDavid or Draisaitl, he could do damage

I'd take that deal in a heartbeat. The guy has plenty of nice attributes, but he just doesn't think the game fast enough.

I would agree, out of the 4 players who’ve played as the 12th forward (Sanford/Blais/Maceachern/Fabbri) I definitely like Sanford the most but he’s also has the most value and is probably the most expendable. I’d be shocked if he’s with STL next season but another team is gonna get a really solid player.

He wasn't my favorite. He doesn't have the motor of Mac or Fabbri for that matter. He's probably the most versatile of the 4 mentioned though. I think he could become what Chiasson was to Edmonton this year from the left side.

Fabbri and Sanford would be the guys out. I personally like the style of MacEachern and Blais the best right now. Fabbri just needs a change of scenery. It's ashame he was my favorite player before he went down.

Fabbri was pretty terrible this year and especially in the playoffs, but he also showed that some of his former potential was still there. It’ll be very interesting to see what happens with him this summer. I think Blais definitely stays and obviously Mac is on a 1-way deal but the other two are tossups. In the mean time, I can’t even sit still waiting for tonight.

Fabbri looked better than Sanford in the playoffs.
I feel the same way though. I haven't been nervous these playoffs for some reason but I feel nervous about tonight

Fabbri does not need a change of scenery, he just needs time to get his full mojo back. No different than any other ACL victim. And hislast few appearances have been pretty damn good.

MacMac has easily the lowest ceiling of the four. He's all effort and low skill. Barely produces in the AHL, let alone the NHL. He's pure 4th line depth, nothing more.

well can't really do that on a team who doesn't give you ice time which is why he needs a change of scenery.
