As a Leaf fan, I approve the Kap offer sheet. You will regret it in a year or two. Guy has speed to burn and is a superb PKer, but no clue what to do with the puck once he passes the blue line.

Have to hope that part of his game can continue to develop. He's still young, so a possibility.

I don't think what you did here is terrible, I think you're a bit low on Provorov, who I think is likely to get more in the $6.5M range. I don't think Minnesota would do that deal. I'd think they'll be looking for more immediate help than this. A 2021 1st round pick isn't likely to help them until 2022 or 2023. Hard to imagine that being acceptable to them. Also don't understand why you have Schlemko starting but $5M+ in unused cap space. Any dman who couldn't crack Montreal's lineup won't be starting for my team. Also I'd prefer to go a different route than Subban, but I won't be shocked or upset if we do end up with him.

I used Lindell's contract with Dallas as a general gauge for Provy. I don't think Fletcher would go higher in cap hit for that long term right now - since Ivan has been pretty inconsistent the past two years; if anything, I could see a shorter-term bridge deal.

Had to go with the 2021 1st rounder to MIN (since we'd need the 2020 to sign Kapanen to the offer sheet). I added an additional 3rd rounder in 2019 to make up for that extra year and hopefully entice them enough.

Also - not many FA defensemen that would sign for <$5M. Remember - need room for next year to sign Patrick/Myers/potentially Hart. Not a terrible 6th guy, but could replace with Brennan/Morin if you want. No team is gonna be perfect - but think this is a step in the right direction.
