Can someone please explain to me Nikita Gusev's contract status? He signed a purportedly one-year contract on April 19. Does that mean his contract expires (a) at the end of next season, (b) before the end of next season (April 18, 2020) (c) sometime this summer, or (d) other?

Since he signed after the season ended, there were 0 days left, so he gets $0 of the 832,500 in salary

He does get the $92,500 signing bonus though
