Buttercup and Ladd won't be eligible for LTIR, Pelech doesnt bel ong on the 1st defensive pair, I'd rather keep Leddy a year or trade him for something more substantial or a position we actually need, Lee will probably get 5.75-6.5 million MAX, he'd only get 7 if he was on the FA market, you need to sign Barzal and Pulock and Toews soon and that money Skinner and Lee takes up will be very problematic, Lehner will probably get 4.5 at 4.

Regarding Leddy: Are you saying Center is not a position we need? It is the position we need the most imo. Danault is a great player, same points as Brock at a bargain cap hit and amazing shut down abilities. Exactly what we need at 3C. Can also fill in in the top 6 like he did with the Habs.
Pelech and Pulock formed a very good pair, of course Pelech is no 1st pair D, but which team does actually have two of them? Your projection for Lee seem very low, I can't see him taking anything less than 6.75. He was a 40 goal scorer just 1 year ago. And in fact, he is a FA, there is no reason to believe he takes a discount for the Isles. He can wait them out, test the market, Isles need to counter. I don't think it is a great deal for the Isles but one they need to make. It is understandable Lou wanted to evaluate everything, but it is biting him now, that's for sure.
