I personally would have no interest in Kadri at that price. We can get a cheaper 3C than him. I'd rather re-sign Filppula.

Kadri can still be a solid 2nd center tho

Kadri would be the center, Nelson is not a real center, he looked great on the wing with Barzal.

I don't think Nylander likely plays C. He's a great fill in or if you want to alter a lineup but I can't see them keeping him anywhere consistently except flanked to Auston

He never played wing with Barzal once.

Solid moves. Like the Kadri deal but we may have to pitch in a slightly better pick.

My suggestion for lines, switch Bracco and kappy. Bracco will be much better suited for Matthews. Only way I see that happening is if he is extended this off season.

I might even consider giving nylander Johnsson and kappy. Nylander is great with possession and will work great to slow things down for two wingers that need to learn patience.

Yeah he did, they just put him in center due to the fact they lacked depth down the middle.

Give nylander a line to compliment him. As I pointed out above. Mango/kappy. Nylander was excellent at centre considering his wingers were Marleau and brown.

Agree, I'm Nylander's biggest advocate. I just think it's likely better to have him rip it up with Auston and still have him as a great replacement for injury or anything like slump-busting for another C.

I think Kadri would fit nicely in your offence. Back at 2c he will be back to 30+ goals and generating offence for linemates. Also a great shutdown guy too. Will certainly fits the team style but with added offence.

I don’t disagree, it may be too soon put Bracco with Matthews but he is certainly on a collision course with the right side of 34.

Maybe you find away to keep Kadri and pump and dump him by putting Bracco and Moore on his wing.

Kadri pots 30-40 goals and now he has value. So you can either keep him or move him. 30 goal centre would return a very good rhd. Cap would come close to balancing out leaving us room to load up and make a solid cup run in 20/21.

I'm not as high on Bracco as you, he's a solid passer but has many things to work on beforehand. He's also older than Marner and almost as old as Willy, the marlies instead of leafs aspect makes him look more promising imo. Hope you're right though!

He has played with Matthews for team USA and even in preseason last year, Bracco looked good with Matthews. We should have traded brown and moved him up earlier.

Do you watch marlie games? His skills are very intense and his vision is as good as marners in my opinion.

Hopefully this link works, this is insane. Also Bracco is only 1 month older than marner.

Might have to click on videos to get it to come up...

Insane edge work.

I do watch some Marlies games, he's the QB for the powerplay and is very fun to watch control the O-zone. Funny enough I'm actually the same age as Bracco and he dated a girl I know here in Windsor. He was a really good figure skater growing up and it's definitely translated very well (Much like Skinner). He has a high talent level for sure, but I think the translation for him will likely be a lot harder than you expect. Wish him all the best but saying he has Marner vision is asinine considering Marner put up the assists of Bracco in a far and above better league.

That just factually isn't true. Nelson and Barzal have never played on a line together, and Brock played center all year. Years ago he played LW on a line with Tavares, but he's been a center 99% of his time in the NHL, and just had a career year at center.
