Chicago isn't taking bad contracts, Johnson is a nonstarter.

Lol is this an actual report like the Minnesota Pittsburg thing or just a bad post. If there was water behind this I’d be unhappy.

They’re giving up one as well.

Anisimov. They get Jarry, so retention is done.

but retaining on AA leaving him at $3M is a pretty attractive piece.

Anisimov is hardly a cap dump, especially with retention. There's no reason for Chicago to make this deal.

Ya I thk ur value is way off. This is way more value from CHI than the Minnesota Trade. Saad over Zucker. Anisimov is good, Rask is barely an NHL player, and the retention.

Jarry is just throw away

Saad > Zucker...... oh man, I don't even like the Zucker trade, but I got to tell you. Saad = slow. At least Zucker has some wheels.
I don't like either. But if I had to choose between getting hit in the head with a hammer or a brick, I'd take Zucker.

Saad consistently produces way more than Zucker. Sure Zucker is faster but I wouldn’t call Saad slow. He’s an above average skater.
Saad is more of a hard nose Workman guy, Zucker is fast N/S. Different styles but I said Saad is better...

Anisimov isn’t a bad contract in the same sense as Rask and Johnson are. I don’t see Chicago doing anything special to unload him, especially retaining salary when they’d probably rather use the cap space to bring in a new player to help them get back to the playoffs.
