Jets accept. However, if we could get bowey to balance out our score that would be better. Also, I would rather have a pick in 2019. To fulfill these I am willing to give up svechnikov. So Trouba for 2019 2nd, a 3rd sometime, anthanasiou, bowey

I really really want trouba now but boy would it hurt to give up AA. I like cirelli and if you take a middle 6 forward back from tampa weather its palat or gourde or cirelli or killorn it would help alleviate the loss off AA. this team needs a top pair dman more than anything and we dont seem to have one in the pipeline.

Interesting trades, Wings might still suck next year but I have a feeling they won't be down for long, with a great GM, tons of picks and cap space. I am not sure if Daley could be traded for even that much right now, I think most other teams would prefer to start next year with spots open for younger players to impress and make the team - Wings may have to run with Daley (And Ericsson and Green etc) to start the year and perhaps flip them at the 2020 TDL.

Do you really believe that Tampa would give Cirelli away? And not only that, but Cirelli would be the cost for getting rid of 1 year of Callahan? Insanity.

Yup that's not going to happen, From what i'm hearing here in Tampa it's pretty much Taylor Raddysh that's tied to the Ryan Callahan deal.

I agree, Raddysh is likely to be the player traded with Callahan but I bet Yzerman would go after Cirelli. I based this off of the Bickell dump to Carolina:

Bryan Bickell & Teuvo Teravainen for 2nd & 3rd.

Teravainen just finished his rookie year when he was traded, obviously not the player Chicago wanted to lose but sometimes you gotta give to get.

I would take whatever the Wings would get as sweetener in a deal for taking on Callahan. Obviously Yzerman knows the Lightning well so whatever he decides is fine with me.

Detroit isn't giving up AA for Trouba. In the next 2 seasons Hronek will be as good if not better than Trouba

Why not? As much as I like AA myself, he is the most replaceable player in the top 6 IMO.

If Hronek gets to the level of Trouba, great, would you rather not have 2 #2 defenceman than 1? Top paring D are the biggest need on this team by a long shot, 50 point wingers can be replaced by young guns (Zadina, Hirose, Veleno) or free agency. It's a simple model.

Look at Hronek and Trouba's p/60 numbers and then compare some of the other metrics. They are really close! Now considering this was Hronek's first season and Trouba's best season production wise. After comparing them you'll see why I made that comment.

no I get it and I was real happy with hronek this season. Add trouba along with hronek and bring along mcisaac , lindstrom, and cholo maybe this blue line is pretty good in 3 years

Hronek will probably be better offensively but matching Trouba defensively would be a challenge and I do not think hronek will get there. Considering that you need defensive capabilities more in a top pairing d-man, I value Trouba more that what hronek could be. Trouba is a 50pt very good defensive d-man. Hronek May become a 60 pt defensemen but will not be as god defensively. Therefore, I think saying that hronek will be better than Trouba is a stretch

Agreed, Yzerman will definitely want Cirelli for Callahan, And probably get him. Let's hope so.
