I personally think it isn’t worth it for the jets, especially with Connor in the deal. Interesting idea though

You have Detroit's 2nd and 3rd best scorers so your going to have to add Scheifele.

This is obviously for fun 2 of the best GMs in the league aren't going to make a trade this absurd.

Maybe but that would be giving up two elite wingers who still have loads of potential our staring goalie, one of our best dman just for an upgrade at centre that’s too high of a price.

Real trade would be Hronek aa and Mantha for trouba and Connor, but not sure either team would come to an agreement on that

Yeah that was my original thought and that would be IDEAL for the Jets but figured they'd have to add a bit, imo if Chevy could get those three from the Wings he should be making a serious attempt at it. Like if I was Chevy I'd happily send a 1st and a B-grade prospect or mid round picks with Connor and Trouba for those three.

Your adds on det side from there not really worth anything, and hellys number might be a little high to make sense for det, possibly Stanley and some picks to offset could make it work, Lowry not really needed in Detroit yet either. Det lineup is a mess, and all over the place, so hopefully for them yzerman has some magic. The team did get hot at the end of the year so maybe they can carry that

You know what I'm good with that after 25 straight seasons in the playoffs. I'm good not making it for 4 seasons. When the Wings started their streak the Coyotes were still in Winnipeg. If you're fine not trading with Detroit why make an angry comment? Shouldn't you be in a good mood for not having to trade with them?

Not angry at all, just the repeat builds of trades with Detroit and they continue not to make sense for either team. I was at last three games in wpg against Detroit wild times. The teams Detroit had there should have won way more cups, and the st.louis brag of always making the playoffs doesn’t really make sense to me as a worthy accomplishment, Konstantinov doesn’t get hurt I think there’s a ton more cups, he was a dman that could truly do it all, way underrated in my book.

I sent those pieces from the Detroit side to make it even and I think getting a second 2nd round pick for this draft would be good without having a 1st. I don't think Detroit's lineup is that bad and would actually be worse with a deal like this, I think this would be a huge win for the Jets that's why I tried to sweeten the pot a bit.

Value in trouba isn’t high enough, with only one guaranteed year left then ufa status to swing this deal, Connor better than aa and Mantha, but being multiple players away, doesn’t make much sense swinging for the fences for 1 winger, and helly 6 mill deal might be 4 million numbers value so a little overpay, and Lowry plays a hard game so possibly broke down by the time det needs him on a playoff run. Stanley probably needs another year in Ahl. I would be worried about getting and extension out of aa, but Hronek the second and Mantha, I would be entertained with. I think I still would rather have Conner unless Mantha willing to longterm in wpg

This would be selling high on Connor and I think Connor is redundant in Winnipeg with Ehlers and Laine there, Hronek will be Trouba in no time and Helly is pretty meh in my opinion, he's an overrated goalie.
This trade would fill a lot of holes the Jets have.
AA fills the 2C need, Mantha is the power forward the Jets need and Hronek is a Trouba replacement in the making.

Now I can't speak for all Detroit fans but I'd like the Wings to do nothing. Detroit isn't going to be in the playoffs next season and I'd like to think Detroit could make the playoffs the season after that but who knows. I'd like to see Trouba Wings jersey but I don't think Detroit is far enough along in their rebuild to trade away multiple prospects and picks for one player. I really don't want to end up like Buffalo or Edmonton in that never ending rebuild. Trouba is good but not good enough give up what Winnipeg asking. The players I've seen in Trouba trades: AA and Mantha create far more offense than Trouba can and Detroit has had issues scoring since Franzen got hurt and it got even worse when Datsyuk left. In my opinion Hronek isn't far off from Trouba's level if he can plays as well as he did this year. But the last part is just my opinion.

The Winnipeg games did you see any in Detroit? I went to a Winnipeg vs Detroit and sitting next to us were a few Winnipeg fans very nice group.

The Wings did retire Konstantinov's number. The team masseur Sergei Mnatsakanov that was also in the limo his oldest son Max is a friend of mine.

Just the three in Winnipeg game 3 was epic, last home win and reality hadn’t set in yet, ya my thought was always Bowey because He kinda just got there and might not be in a longterm plan, and injured all year Svechnikov, and 2nd or later pick, with new gm coming in he kinda has his own look of team, and some guys don’t fit the plan, or ultimate patience and doesn’t do much sorta plan. I would get over a 1 year trouba, he’s going to be hungry, and saves putting niku into minutes he might not be ready for.
