Description

RHD are way to over valued, there is no point in over paying a D just because he shoots right, if this were true then the Nikita Z would be easy to move. Colin Miller is nice thought but again is an unproven player IMO, I would absolutely take Miller over NZ. All in all if the Leafs could find a way to pry J Mason from the ducks IMO would be the best option as the Leafs have plenty of skating offensive minded D man what they really lack is a stay at home safe play signing the corner RHD that can play 24 mins with Rielly, which is not Colin Miller, Miller fits in if you can move NZ beside Muzz.

Cap is tight, once Hyman is cleared to play you drop Bracco and Korshekov back down to the Marlies and tool with 12 F and 7 D

I do agree with your statement, perfect example of how RHD are over valued, on the other hand Miller does shoot right and is signed for under 4 for 3 years, if Dermott is as good and valued as you say he will command between 4/5 per at the end of next season and you still have a left shot on the right side which weaken Dermott Defensively

For any old time Leaf fan they'll probably agree the best 6 DMen Corps the Leafs had was coached by Pat Burns in the early '90s and only 2 of his 7 Dmen were RHD.
