Did JP Dumont actually just sign with Nashville?

I opened CF and under the signings it showed Jean-Pierre Dumont signing a contract with the Predators with a cap hit of 4M, but he is retired. I looked him up and found no news of a contract signing, and there isn't any post about him in the signings forum. Is this a mistake?

A closer reality would have been JP Dumont's grandson signed with the Preds
