Taro Hirose gets a bump in pay over others with entry level contracts? Makes no sense and nobody is signing Holtby for 10 million or Mantha for 6 years at 6 million, LOL!

Hirose in 1 game has more production than Svechnikov has in his nhl career. With the cap going up that’s going to be the open market price for a guy like Holtby. 6 mil for Mantha is going to happen lol.

Mantha does not produce what Larkin does, so there is no way his salary exceeds Larkin unless Mantha drives home 40 goals next year. He's a good player, but he does take too many games off, although I think Yzerman is going to put an end to that lackadaisical play eventually.

Turcotte won’t make the NHL after one season at Wisconsin. He’d go to the AHL for at least a little while to get stronger and acclimated to the pro game. Guys that go from NCAA to the pros are generally older. That’s what he means.

Oh and paying 10 M for a goalie-ridiculous.

Krug better be willing to take more of a hometown discount than that if he wants to play here.

I can see that scenario (I’m not a Divealanche fan). Whichever team doesn’t take Bryan the other will. And the only other player to consider would be Cole Caufield (Johnny Gaudreau/Alex DeBrincat paved the way for smaller sized guys to still be successful and GM’s will use it in their Calculus). The KHL worry will limit Pods (I can see the Wings grabbing him or Cozens or Dach).

Coga16 is a Avs fan and probably has a lot better of an Idea who Colorado is going to take. He said Turcotte or Bryum who ever is still there.
