Like the idea of Colin Miller but seems like a huge overpay. He’s out of favor there, Reaves is way over paid and Clarkson off the books is a big help to them. Would imagine a higher round pick in there and no salary on smith with all we are taking on

Miller would be their top RHD and Reaves would be great insurance for a team with a ton of young guys. He’d be a serviceable guy for a season.

Probably too much cap going back to Vegas, though.

Yeah, I would have preferred sending all of Smith. But with their Cap issues, I knew that would be the main deal breaker.

Thought so, too. Wanted to get the trade out there to see if there was even interest. A 3rd or 4th coming back to the Rangers would work for me.

I don’t mind the Kreider trade, assuming an extension is signed. It would be a solid addition for CAR.

Vegas doesn't need to get rid of Clarkson, they can bury it under LTIR. They would want much more for Reeves and Miller probably Kravtsov and a 2nd and 4th

Miller's not that good. Especially if the Rangers take on Reaves. Kravtsov one of the best Prospects out there.

He is much better than a lot of people on here are thinking. He was benched three games this year because of defensive lapses, Both Karlsson & Burns would have been benched more under Gallant, he is the 3rd rated defenseman on the 5th best defensive team in the league.
