Exactly, they want to get rid of contracts, not take them on. Miller is moved for picks or picks/prospects so they can sign their RFAs

Asking Ottawa to take on 6.25 million in cap costs you more than a 6th round pick. Washington gave up starting goalie for Orpik.

Vegas is already over the cap and needs to sign Karlsson, why would they take in over 6million in cap and trade away 3 million in cap.?

so just to be clear, ottawa is paying 3.833 million out of pocket, and 6.25 million in cap, for a 6th round pick? keep dreaming.
